Spoof movie, this is a genre that is being abused to the limit in hollywood these days. I think this started big time with scary movie which was followed by date the movie and now this. If you are looking for something fundamentally different from the previous movies you better not watch this. However you can watch it if you like spoofs and would like to watch a spoof of the newer movies that have come out later. they did make fun of most new movies that are my favourites. These included Pirates of the carribean with Jack Swallows as the captain of the "fantasia" rapping with his fellow pirates about a pirates colourfull lives with babes doing the car wash act on the ship and such. The main target for spoof though is Narnia with small elements of "Da Vince Code", "Snakes on the plane", "X-men" , "charlie and the chocolate factory", "Star Wars", "Harry Potter", "Superman", "Borat" etc thrown in . . .
Lemme tell you that carmen electra as mystique is still too hot inspite of the blue paint and stickers all over her lol . . .

Though not a movie for serious movie goers or for ppl who don't like dirty jokes I do think it can be seen if you wanna see jack sparrow again . . . see this movie at your own risk though :)

Written by Joe Carnahan and set in Lake Tahoe with Buddy "Aces" Israel (Piven) as a Las Vegas magician turned Mafia informant and Rchard Messener (Reynolds) as the FBI agent assigned to protect him.

The movie starts with a background where FBI has cracked down hard on mafia and destroyed them all save for one . . Primo Sparazza
While listening to the convo the agents learn that with a $1 million bounty on his head, the hit has been put out on Buddy “Aces” Israel.

Cutting then between several other characters, the story about Buddy Israel's rise and downfall within the Mafia world is told and the identities of those willing to take a shot at the million dollar prize are revealed.

Amongst them are: Las Vegas bail bondsman Jack Dupree (Ben Affleck) and his two ex-cop associates "Pistol" Pete Deeks (Peter Berg) and Hollis Elmore (Martin Henderson), who have been hired by Rip Reed (Jason Bateman). Killers for hire, Georgia Sykes (Alicia Keys) and Sharice Watters (Taraji P. Henson). Darwin (Chris Pine), Jeeves (Kevin Durand), and Lester Tremor (Maury Sterling) who are a trio of psychotic neo-Nazi brothers known for their lack of subtlety. Pasqual Acosta (Nestor Carbonell), (aka The Plague), a sadistic torturer who once chewed off his own fingertips so that he couldn’t be identified; and Lazlo Soot (Tommy Flanagan), a dangerous master of disguise.

Around the same time, bail bondsman Dupree and his associates drive out towards the lake to discuss their plan of going undercover as casino workers to nab Israel. While discussing the minor details of the plan, a car blaring heavy metal music passes by, and then backs up. As the men turn around to look at the car, they are ruthlessly gunned down by The Tremor brothers in the car, who consequently steal the casino outfits for their own use. ( these guys bear a striking perhaps a deliberate resemblance to the german band rammstein in the song feur frei lol)
Watters goes across the street to another hotel, where she sets up a Barrett M82 .50 caliber sniper rifle.( love this tool :))

Away from the casino, Hollis, one of the bounty hunters who was shot down by the Tremors, wakes up in the lake. Severely injured, he makes his way to a cabin, where a disturbed Ritalin-fueled boy lives with his grandmother.They take Hollis in and dress his wounds, although their unnatural behavior bewilders him.

the elevators get shut down, leaving the Tremor Brothers, armed with a variety of both ranged and melee weapons, trapped inside of one. They pull out a portable generator to get their elevator working again.

Meanwhile, a security team is waiting for an elevator to come to the penthouse suite; the elevator doors open, and the Tremor brothers jump out, heavily armed with a variety of weapons (stielhandgranates, machetes, a chainsaw, a DAO-12, a sawn-off shotgun, and an M3 Grease Gun) and ready to massacre.These guys will definetly crack you up with their style . . .
Tremors kill nearly everyone except Ivy who grabs a pistol and kills Lester. Before Jeeves can kill Ivy, Ivy shoots him and he falls on his chainsaw. Darwin, the final brother, gets to Ivy but Sykes shows up and saves him. Defeated, Darwin runs back into the elevator and makes his way down. Sykes, weakened, falls and Ivy begins to carry her down the stairwell.
Darwin, who escapes using an FBI badge in the elevator, walks off to the parking garage.
When Darwin makes it to the roof of the parking garage, he finds Hollis waiting for him. Darwin apologizes about shooting him and killing his friends; and he gives his car keys to Hollis. As Darwin walks off, Hollis decides to kill him anyway.

This movie is a must watch for any one who likes dark comedies . . . this is a guy only film. I would suggest downloading and watching it as when it releases here I expect a lot of scenes to be cut and edited.



Charachters:

Richard Messner. An FBI agent working with his partner and mentor Donald Carruthers. .

Buddy "Aces" Israel. Buddy Israel is a former gangster/magician working for Primo Sparazza. His new power went to his head and eventually he was arrested. His option was to testify against his mafia friends.

Jack Dupree(Ben Affleck). A Las Vegas bail bondsman hired by Rip Reed to capture Buddy Israel.

Stanley Locke(Andy Garcia). The director of the FBI negotiating with Buddy Israel

Alicia Keys as Georgia Sykes. A killer for hire working with her partner Sharice Watters. Sykes and Watters gained notoriety after a hit on a triad.

Darwin Tremor. One of three Tremor brothers. He and his brothers are neo nazi rednecks/assassins.

Lazlo Soot. A deadly master of disguise and the main hitman assigned to kill Israel.
